The points for the ARC Top Dog Rally Awards are based on class placements and wins at AKC licensed Rally Trials from January 1st through December 31st, as reported in the AKC Rottweiler Award Reports.  There are 4 levels of awards:  Novice, Advanced, Excellent, and Master.  The points are calculated as follows:

• PLACEMENT       The dog must place in a class, then 1 point is counted for each dog defeated in the class, i.e. if a dog was 4th in an Advanced A class that had 23 entries, the dog would earn 19 points (23 total class entries minus 4 (1st, 2nd & 3rd place dogs & dog itself).
• THERE ARE NO HIGH OR RESERVE HIGH IN TRIALS IN RALLY, EVEN AT THE NATIONAL SPECIALTY.
• A dog must have a minimum of 5 points to be in the Final Top Dog Awards.
• The Master Level was added in 2018.
