Anvil T.R.U.E.
The American Rottweiler Club offers this award in recognition of services performed outside the realm of competition. Recipients must have accumulated a minimum of 25 hours in a given year, donating their time and ability of their Rottweiler to any one or a combination of the following:
- Therapy: nursing homes, hospitals, etc.
- Rescue: placement of Rottweilers
- Utility: search and rescue, law enforcement, etc.
- Education: visiting schools, manning information booths, etc.
All applications or nominations must include verification of hours by an appropriate official (such as hospital staff member, regional club officer, obedience instructor, or therapy dog organization officer). Letters of commendation, accreditation and all pertinent data should be attached. Nominees need not be ARC members. Nominations may be made by clubs or individuals and all nominations will be reviewed and approved by the ARC Board.
The award is presented at the Awards event at the National Specialty. Nominations may be submitted by individuals or by clubs listed in the Local and Regional Clubs list.
