Breed Specific and Anti-Canine laws are being introduced in almost every state legislative session, in addition to what is happening in local communities.

The Breed needs your help! The Legislative Committee needs more workers! This is one of those Committees where “the more the merrier” applies; we are always looking for more committee members. If you would like to volunteer, please contact an ARC Officer or Director.

ARC WELCOMES NEW LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS

ARC would like to welcome the following new committee members to the ARC Legislative Committee: Steph Anderson, Teri Carpenter, Kelly Easter, Julie Higgins, Allie Luxenberg, Shantel McCook, Eleanor Moore and Darren Moore.

LEGAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The ARC Board recently approved a new Legal Internship Program and we are pleased to welcome intern Juan Michelen of Fordham Law School. Juan will hold a special place in the history of ARC as the very first intern for the club, assigned to assist the Legislative Committee in tracking and responding to legislative matters. He will also assist in managing legislative content for the Paws4Laws.com website and data collection related to legislation.
