MESSAGE FROM THE ARC PRESIDENT

Dear ARC Members,

Just a quick note to make you aware of a couple of important things you might be interested in seeing.

The AKC has just announced a new Eukanuba Breeder Challenge. It is like conformation shows to some extent, but is based on a breeder's production over generations, not just a single dog or bitch. Take a look at the announcement letter from AKC to see if this might be something of interest to you.

The ARC Nationals and First National Sieger event is fast approaching. Now is the time to look at the Mile High Host site for all the information you will need to get there, have a place to stay, get premium lists and enjoy all the competition and social gatherings. Come early for the performance events, and stay late, for the Sunday Sieger Show. Don't wait for a mailed Premium on all of this. Mile High has done a great job getting everything online. Ad deadlines are fast approaching and some entry dates close early. Anyone wishing to volunteer to help or donate for trophies, please contact Diane Garnett. This is going to be a great National.

The ARC Legislative Committee is now signing up new and more volunteers to work for our dogs. Be a part of the solution, not the problem. Apathy will cost us our future with the dogs we so dearly love. Contact Barbara Haywood if you are serious about working for solutions.

See you in Denver in April . . .
