MESSAGE FROM THE ARC PRESIDENT

Dear Members,

The Board has been notified that a few members did not get there ARK until last week, which included a ballot for judges for the 2012 National Specialty. The printer formerly used for the ARK went out of business. The Editor and Board was not aware of this until late in preparation of the most recent ARK. We then found a new printer , but they could not put us "in the front of the line " of other customers. The deadline announced in the ARK was 11/13/2009 for getting votes to the secretary. Obviously we want to allow time for members to be able to vote, even though only a few seem to have had a delay in getting their ARK in time to vote.

The Board has voted to extend the voting deadline, by mail, as stated in the ARK until NOVEMBER 27, 2009 at the close of mail delivery at the ARC's secretary address as listed in the ARK on the ballot. No further extensions will be allowed so please read the ballot and vote.

Ballots for Judge's selection in the ARK are specifically allowed per the club's standing rules, to save cost for the club of an additional mail-out. Everyone please take a look at the ballot and get those votes in by the 27th! If you have tried to send the Secretary your vote by email or fax, that is not allowed by the bylkaws or standing rules, so please take the time now allowed , and send in the paper ballot.
