MESSAGE FROM THE ARC PRESIDENT

Another holiday is here and many are taking a needed rest from their "doggie" labors. As summer is winding down I hope you have all had time to enjoy all the hot weather activities you like to do with your dogs. The Board has been busy as always this time of year. If not already up on the web page please watch for the August Motions to be posted. This is the best way to watch the monthly activities of the club, without my having to retype everything in these messages (you all know how slowly I type).

Additionally, a rather lengthy AKC Delegate report from Peter Piusz has been posted. We are really lucky to have Peter to keep an eye on AKC for us.

A few upcoming events you might want to consider include the ARC’s first Working Dog Sport event in Florida this November. Hopefully many of you will be able to attend the Medallion Rottweiler Club's 50th Anniversary celebration this October. Lastly, ARK Newsletters should be on the way soon. Tracy as always has put together a great newsletter for the membership.

I have to run for now. Our local tracking club is having the AKC Field Representative in this weekend for a Rules and Regs seminar. Time to get to the airport to keep the "Rep" happy!
