Designated Specialty is on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 with Breed Judge John P. Wade and Puppy and Veteran Sweepstakes Judge is Dick Mayer.

The Futurity Account and the Membership Account shall be governed by Section C, #5 of the ARC's Standing Rules.

07/13/08 - Motion beginning with the July 1, 2008 board motions; following the close of a motion with results, a written copy of the ARC Board voting including the individual Board Members voting record on each specific motion to be published shall be compiled by the ARC Secretary and forwarded to the Web Master for publication on the official ARC Web site for membership viewing by the tenth of each month. Voting results should be posted onto the ARC Official Web Site within seven days of receipt by the Web Master from the ARC Secretary. Motions and voting results on topics specifically denoted as confidential per the Constitution or bylaws shall be excluded from posting on the Official Web Site.

07/16/08 - Motion in accordance to the Bylaws Article V Section 1. A standing committee shall be appointed by the President and approved by the Board for the sole purpose of conducting semi annual reviews of the ARC Financial books. This committee will work under the authority of the Board granted to the Board by Article III Section 2 (d) His books shall at all times be open to inspection of the Board. The committee will be comprised of three (3) ARC members in good standing that have no member of their family, themselves or spouse currently serving as an Officer or Director of ARC. The review will be scheduled during the months of January and July with no fixed date. The committee will report in writing to the ARC Board their finding, concerns and or questions within thirty days of the start of the review. This Finance Committee review will neither impede the day to day business of ARC nor will it delay the annual review by a Certified Public Accountant as stated in Article III Section 2 (d) paragraph two of the current Bylaws. All Officers and Directors will be required to assist in obtaining any information pertinent to the review as requested by any member of the finance committee during the review period.

LYNN LOPEZ’S ORIGINAL MOTION 07/16/08 - Motion is made to have all items for the budget received within 60 days of the national. All items of income and expense, committee activity, all events, specialty report, etc. must be to the treasurer as follows: March due no later than May 31st; April due no later than June 30th; May due no later than July 31st; and June due to treasurer no later than August 31st. Special emphasis is placed on timeliness of reporting to the treasurer to include these critical items in the budget. The nationals and annual meeting are the highlight and the basis for the club year. The budget can only be prepared within 90 days of the national if all the information from it is received timely. All committee reports are due within 60 days of the national, all involved are requested to prepare accordingly.

Treasurer shall provide to all ARC Board members, all material to be reviewed or relied upon by the CPA which have not previously been provided to the Board by the Treasurer. Treasurer may provide these materials to the Board in the easiest format for the Treasurer, provided they are received the by Board members no later than three days prior to the CPA conference call.

Failure to comply and have all such documents to the remainder of the ARC Board by due date, shall result in Treasurer having 2 options: 1] resignation of Treasurer, effective immediately, or 2] Treasurer will face charges of dereliction of duty and/or gross negligence under Constitution and Bylaws of ARC.
